Why Train With Me?

Hi, I’m Lauren, founder of Lead the Way Dog Training.

I’m an APDT accredited dog trainer, using modern, ethical methods backed by science, never fear, force, or intimidation. I help owners build better communication and understanding with their dogs. When we learn to recognise what behaviour is telling us, training becomes clearer, calmer and more rewarding for both dog and owner.

I work with dogs and owners who want to build strong foundations and better everyday habits. Training isn’t about “fixing” your dog, it’s about helping them understand what’s expected of them and making life together easier and more enjoyable.

Things like pulling on the lead, jumping up, losing focus, or struggling to listen aren’t bad behaviour, they’re signs that your dog needs clearer guidance and practice. With the right training and support, small changes can make a big difference.
